Bush Walk and Art Activity – Herring Island

Come interact with and learn about the exciting flora and fauna of Herring Island and be inspired by nature to create art.

Please bring water (and snacks if you get hungry!), sunscreen, insect repellent, wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and for participating in art activities.

Directions: Meet at Como Landing, Alexandra Avenue, South Yarra VIC 3141 (next to Kanteen Café) for boat departure to Herring Island. 2 hour parking is available on Alexandra Avenue near Como Landing.

Note: For boat capacity, only one adult to accompany a registered Junior Ranger. No unregistered accompanying siblings. Prams and wheelchairs are not suitable on this activity.

All Junior Ranger activities are suitable for children age 6-12 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over. Parents and guardians do not need to reserve a booking for themselves. Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
