Learn about the role rangers play in fighting bushfires and gain an insight to how fires are planned for and managed in our national parks. Junior Rangers will get to test out their skills on the fire hose with some fun games.
This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. Warning: participants may get wet!
Direction: meet at the Echuca Moama Visitor Information Centre, 2 Heygarth Street Echuca, Victoria 3564. Look for the Junior Ranger sign.
Please note that this activity may be cancelled in the event extreme weather e.g. if it is declared a day of Total Fire Ban, or due to emergency response.
