Beachcombing

January 14, 2019

Visit the beach with Parks Victoria rangers to learn about the plants and animals that call the land and sea home. Beaches can be like a window to the sea, exploring the coastline will give us clues to what lives in the deeper water.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

Sturdy, closed toe footwear (no thongs or bare feet!), drinking water, hat, sunscreen and appropriate clothing are essential. Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.

Please meet at the end of Homestead Entrance Road, at the Point Cook Homestead, Point Cook. Note. Homestead Entrance road is a gravel road and is NOT the main Point Cook Coastal Park entrance.
