Australia has some amazing native plants which provide important habitat for our native animals. Learn how to identify common native plants and discover some of the many species found in the Dandenong Ranges National Park

Meet at the picnic shelter next to café. Grants Picnic Ground, Monbulk Rd, Kallista. Dandenong Ranges National Park.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

To remain COVID safe, participant numbers are limited to a maximum of 15 in total for this activity. This includes parents, carers and siblings. Physical distancing cannot be guaranteed so please bring your face mask if over the age of 12.

Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.

Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
