Flora Explorers

Australia has some amazing native plants which provide important habitat for our native animals. Learn how to identify common native plants and discover some of the many species found at Jawbone Flora and Fauna Reserve

This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

Please bring water, sunscreen, hat, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.

Please meet at the management gate on Mullins Court

Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.

Parking is available in Mullins Court or Rifle Range Drive, Williamstown. Please note that there are no toilets at Jawbone Flora and  Fauna Reserve. The nearest toilets are in Battery Road, Williamstown, . opposite the Williamstown Cricket Ground.

Please note that we are running all of our Junior Ranger activities in strict accordance with DHHS guidelines to minimise the risk of Covid transmission. This includes restrictions on group sizes, as well as adherence to social distancing and hygiene related guidelines.  While these measures are aimed at minimising the risk of Covid transmission, you acknowledge that you are participating in these activities at your own risk.
