Discover a bug’s world in our local waterways. Get to know some tiny critters, what they mean to our environment, and peer through a magnifying glass into the world of a mini beast.
Please bring drinking water and wear sturdy, closed footwear, a hat, sunscreen and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Note: there are no toilets at this site. The nearest public toilets are located at the Hattah-Kulkyne National Park Visitor Centre.
This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
This activity may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather (e.g. days of Total Fire Ban) or for emergency response.
Meet at the turn off to Shorts Pipeline Track on the Hattah-Robinvale Road, approximately 12kms past the main entrance to Hattah-Kulkyne National Park.
