Minibeast Discovery

Discover a bug’s world in Organ Pipes National Park! Get to know some tiny critters, what they mean to our environment, and peer through a microscope into the world of a minibeast.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Be prepared to get wet. Sturdy, waterproof shoes (no thongs or barefeet!), drinking water, hat, sunscreen and appropriate clothing are essential.

Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.

The path from the carpark to the creek descends steeply. This is also the path to return to the carpark. The path is initially sealed asphalt, and then crushed rock paths to the creek and the Organ Pipes.
