Ever wondered what native fish live in the Major creek or what invasive fish are causing trouble in our waterways? Come and try your luck at fishing!
This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and the possibility of getting wet! We have a limited number of fishing rods available to borrow, so please bring your own fishing rod and tackle if you have them.
Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
Meet at the boat ramp at Major Creek Streamside Reserve, off Wattlevale Rd, Mitchellstown, just north of the bridge.
