Scared of the dark? Not sure what’s lurking in the shadows? Don’t be afraid! Join a ranger on a guided walk on Mount Alexander to discover the wonderful wildlife that comes out after dark.
This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
Please bring a small torch so you can see where you are going, insect repellent, and a bottle of water. Be sure to wear enclosed shoes and warm clothes suitable for the weather.
Please note that we are running all of our Junior Ranger activities in strict accordance with DHHS guidelines to minimise the risk of Covid transmission. This includes restrictions on group sizes, as well as adherence to social distancing and hygiene related guidelines. While these measures are aimed at minimising the risk of Covid transmission, you acknowledge that you are participating in these activities at your own risk.

Meet at the Leanganook Campground, Mount Alexander Regional Park, Joseph Young Drive, Faraday. Allow 45 minutes by car from Bendigo or 20-30 minutes from Castlemaine. There are toilets at the campground.
