Spotlight

Scared of the dark? Not sure what’s lurking in the shadows? Don’t be afraid! Join a ranger on a guided walk around Jordan’s Bend to discover the wonderful wildlife that comes out after dark.

This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.

Please bring a small torch so you can see where you are going, insect repellent, and a bottle of water. Be sure to wear enclosed shoes and warm clothes suitable for the weather.

Please note that we are running all of our Junior Ranger activities in strict accordance with DHHS guidelines to minimise the risk of Covid transmission. This includes restrictions on group sizes, as well as adherence to social distancing and hygiene related guidelines.  While these measures are aimed at minimising the risk of Covid transmission, you acknowledge that you are participating in these activities at your own risk.

By proceeding with your activity booking you agree to comply with all ranger instructions in order to ensure that these measures are met.

Note also that we are now requiring every attending individual to hold a separate ticket booking

Directions: meet at Jordan’s Bend, located off Jordan Place, Shepparton. Look for the Junior Ranger sign and the glow of torches.
