Tread Lightly, Hoodies Nesting

Join a Ranger on a guided walk through Hooded Plover territory. These endangered shorebirds live and breed on our ocean beaches throughout Southern Australia. Learn the plight of the plover, including its habitat, breeding cycle, threats, population monitoring and why they need our protection. With less than 600 Hooded Plovers left in all of Victoria…let’s tread carefully.
