Join Yorta Yorta Rangers on a guided walk long the Yamyabuc Discovery Trail and let us introduce you to some of the unique natural and cultural features of Barmah National Park.
This activity is suitable for children aged 6-12, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over.
Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. The activity will involve a short walk, so you may want to bring a small backpack. There are no toilets at the Dharnya Centre, so please go before you come. The nearest public toilets are located at the Barmah Lakes Day Visitor Area, off the Sandridge Track (about 1.5kms closer to Barmah Township than the Dharnya Centre).
Activities may be rescheduled, changed or cancelled due to adverse weather or for emergency response.
Meet in the car park at the Dharnya Centre on the Sandridge Track, Barmah National Park, about 8km from Barmah township. Look for the Parks Victoria Junior Ranger sign.
